Went for the taiwan trip briefing today. It was a total waste of time. Before the session, they gave us a piece of paper with information on it. Okay. I read it. Then the briefing started. Bloody hell. That guy just read out everything on that piece of paper. End of briefing. My family went all the way to mosque street just to tolerate those crap? Their service aint good either. My dad asked where is the briefing held. That lady answered 2nd floor and "Ni xian huan yu shu zai shang qu". It meant you pay the remaining sum before going up. WTH. TOURISM COMPANY. CTC. SERVICE SECTOR. Service sector doesn't have good service? Haha.


I will NEVER go C T C to book any holiday package. NEVER.



Oh well. Then I went to maxwell to eat. Hahas. Porridge. Damn nice:D Frog leg porridge:D Gong bao tian ji jiao + zhou. :D, fish porridge, some fried egg tofu thingy, some curry noodle thingy and some dessert pancake thingy which is damn nice. :D Not cheap. That one bowl of frog leg porridge is 8 bucks. Hahas. Ahh. Going taiwan is gonna cost a bomb man! The tips alone cost 245 bucks. I see no point why it's called TIPS. Because, it is COMPULSORY. -.- So told by the unfriendly man. (:

I ate pork floss bun, a fruit cup cake thingy, half a cupcake my dad bought from swiss, half a packet of fried rice, half a packet of mix veg rice (vegetarian), half a curry puff and one third a crab meat puff and half a cup of water. F*** I cant believe I am so sad to the extent of crying because of this? Why cant I be an ogl for J1s? Why IPs? and.. Why me? I am ip3 next year which is equivalent to J1. Won't is make more sense to put me in a J1 ogl? So that I can know more people from my year?

Today's trainingS were insane. Note the S. We had one training in the morning and one in the evening. Lol. Both have their own madness. Morning's training was tough for the girls cos we couldn't finish the run on time and we hafta rerun again and again. Adeline vomitted. I nearly did.


Went home. Slept for barely 30 minutes, went for training again. It was RAINING. It was the first time in my life to "RUN IN WATER". It was such a heavy downpour but Mr Sham didn't stop the runs. The rain was so heavy that I couldn't open my eyes for the last lap and I was trying hard to breathe.


All those strengthenings were as usual my "favourites". I think I suck. Everyone didn't seem quite affected by them except ME. Haiz. I run the slowest in my team now. I HATE EXAMS. I HATE NOT BEING SMART. I HATE NOT BEING DILIGENT. So Sleepy now. Trainings drain all my energy. RAHH. But. I kinda like being tortured by em:x Heehee:P


Now I have blisters on my TOES and a swollen little toe (4th one). Cos my right shoe is too small. Or rather, my right foot is too HUGE-.- It's half a size bigger than my left foot. LOL. HOW I BUY SHOES NEXT TIME? )): Whatever's the case..

Stupid true happenings

Case 1
Several years ago we had an intern who was none too swift. One day he was typing and turned to a secretary and said, "I'm almost out of typing paper. "What do I do?" "Just use copier machine paper," she told him. With that, the intern took his last remaining blank piece of paper, put it on the photocopier and proceeded to make five blank copies.


Case 2
I was signing the receipt for my credit card purchase when the clerk noticed that I had never signed my name on the back of the credit card. She informed me that she could not complete the transaction unless the card was signed. When I asked why, she explained that it was necessary to compare the signature on the credit card with the signature I just signed on the receipt. So I signed the credit card in front of her. She carefully compared that signature to the one I signed on the receipt. As luck would have it, they matched.


Case 3
I live in a semi-rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative office to request the removal of the Deer Crossing sign on our road. The reason: Many deer were being hit by cars and he no longer wanted them to cross there.



An actual tip from page 16 of the HP "Environmental, Health & Safety Handbook for Employees: "Blink your eyelids periodically to lubricate your eyes."



I was sitting in my science class, when the teacher commented that the next day would be the shortest day of the year. My lab partner became visibly excited, cheering and clapping. I recently saw a distraught young lady weeping beside her car. "Do you need some help?" I asked.
She replied, "I knew I should have replaced the battery in this remote door unlocker. Now I can't get into my car."
"Do you think they (pointing to a distant convenience store) would have a battery for this?"
"Hmmm, I dunno. Do you have an alarm, too?" I asked.
"No, just this remote 'thingy,'" she answered, handing it and the car keys to me.
As I took the key and manually unlocked the door, I replied, "Why don't you drive over there and check about the batteries...it's a long walk."
